Reality or Denial?

With a friend after loads of convincing from her end, I enter the most exotic party down town. Its her cousin’s birthday bash!

More than a bash, its relatives from all over the town, hence I was pulled in as the savior...

The obvious conversations about birthday wishes very soon took over talks of cancer she is going through.

Looking at her, you wouldn’t believe there is any bug of the dreaded poison in her, as she does more in a day than I do in a week’s time...

Work-MBA-Dance-Horse Riding-Cookery...

To top it all, she is very HAPPY!

But we forget, part time job of the world is to make us UNHAPPY...

Like employees of the devil, due for appraisals, everyone at their best, the only topic anyone could talk was about her cancer...

One of my sharp edged answers to the devils, bounce back this to me – “Today’s generation loves to live in denial, all we are doing is making the girl strong for the final day.”

I agree, they are preparing the girl for the final day, and I must say, are doing a great job, making her live it everyminute!

This made me wonder, the amount of trauma world has gone through, has it made being HAPPY more denial than reality?

Is it that we no more can enjoy, without someone trying to kill it...

 

Its best to live in reality, but if living in reality is living in pain, denial becomes reality...

How about, someone has carved their reality like the small apartments we live in, where there is no space for more than one emotion, and s/he selects happiness over sorrow to stay within.

Yet why do world’s devil try to keep pushing in stuff because others have it, when there is no room for any other closet inside?
